Are Cars Worth The Death and Disease?

sell-your-car.jpgEach year, American drivers kill roughly 700 bicyclists, 5,000 pedestrians, and 40,000 other drivers. Worldwide, car crashes kill 1 million people a year.

But these deaths are dwarfed by the 3 million a year who die of ailments related to air pollution.

With figures like these, I’m riding the bus.

  1. The real tradgedy is that so many of these deaths are so easily avoidable..

    The real problem is that most of it is down to human behaviour, which is hard to change.
