VW Golf Diesel Hybrid

Yes my friends, this could be the one: VW will release a new Golf Diesel Hybrid that gets 69.9 MPG and can run on biodiesel.

    Biodiesel is one of the worst ideas to come along in a long time.

    Putting the growing of plants for our vehicles in competition with the growing of plants for food?

    Just idiotic.

    The law of supply and demand means that food will be more expensive just so we can fill our gas tanks. And it doesn’t matter if they are different plants.

    And the growing of plants is very energy intensive.

    Uh as opposed to ethanol? unlike the previous bio diesel can be made from MANY more sources it can be made from alge….way more options.
