The candle will give off CO2. We turned out our lights and went for a walk around the neighbourhood. Next year, I think I will step it up and have some friends over to play some acoustic music, and invite the neighbours. Sit in the backyard and listen to music by the moonlight. We don't have the liberty of shutting off lights and other electric objects in the winter. This summer though, when we have 24 hour daylight, I don't plan on using electric lights very much at all.
