Basejumpers Find New Challenge: Wind Turbines
Despite their fully opened parachutes, doesn’t it seem like these basejumpers are still moving pretty fast when they make contact with the ground below the turbine? I guess that’s normal. Watch for yourself:
Isn’t it great that not only wind power capacity is growing so strongly that there’s plenty of turbines to choose from for this activity, but that we also have lots of spare human capacity to burn as well :).
In my country, we call folks like these (among other things) “temporary Australians” ;).
