Depending on which side of the clean coal debate one might stand, the sarcasm in the anti-clean coal television advertisement, “Reality,” put out by the Reality Coalition may stir laughs or animosity. The 30-second ad mocks the idea of clean coal and says it doesn’t exist. Al Gore and the Sierra Club — a member group of the coalition — agree with the ad’s sentiment; the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity of course begs to differ.

  1. Of course global warming doesn’t exist either. Two years ago California had 1 Billion dollars in frost damage to the fruit crops.

But we must take global warming which we can not control on faith, and clean coal which we can control, must not be attempted (lest we succeed, and invalidate the demands for Communist-like command of the economy).
