Everything we see on the web of the remnants of the once formidable U.S.S.R. came about in a decade ore less! Will we see the remnants of the once formidable U.S.A. from China, a decade from now, with the same sense of awe and disbelief? The outcome of the (GRD) great republican depression may be far more serious than we suspect, and if you talk to the Russians who lived through their demise, they are still in shock and disbelief, a decade later! Will the Chinese empire continue to win it's economic war against the American population? Will Asians sacrifice the U.S. away? Will U.S. greed and consumerism be the death of them? Did the U.S.S.R. really die or are they in hiding in the Urals waiting for something we don't know about yet? Are things worse than they seem? What made the government panic and spend BILLIONS of dollars they don't have? Why did the U.S.A. go broke? Why does the U.S.A. have enough bombs to destroy the world twenty times over, but not enough nuclear energy to get through the oil crisis? Who is going to clean up the nuclear waste crisis in the former U.S.S.R.? Has any credible scientific body evaluated it? What has our government and corporations hidden from us? Has China done anything untowards to the earth? Is Europe really shiny and clean?

[...] When we talk about God’s world we’ll be thinking in two directions. On the one hand, all of us need to be reminded of the amazingly wonderful and beautiful world God gave us. On the other hand, we’re making an awful mess of this world right now, in ways that most of us don’t even realize. [Check out this recent note on the fate of the Aral Sea.] [...]
